Here's some pics from the other night at unit23, there all taken by Scott Frame. it was a really good sesh, and a good turn out.


I now ride a fashion victim setup! no brakes and slammed seat, I so ashamed! it feels good though I didn't feel like I was using my brake much anyway, and the cable was fucked. I don't really have much to say about myself; I've been working a lot and doing a lot of tasting/training on various wines and spirits and I should be doing a gin cocktail comp in January.




BSD JAM!

I Don't really know what to say about the jam other than there was loads of great riding, minimal injuries, and lots of drunkenness! was disappointed that some people would rather drink all day than ride the jam! highlights from B group were baby Sean pulling dialled 3's over everything, Grant from rouken glen (I think?) whipping the volcano and the box hip, Viktor Bulgaria being himself, Luca going backwards pretty well and doing nice 3's to flat, and Mingo done a nice wall ride pocket thing can't think just now but there was loads of good stuff.

A group had a really good turnout, in the past there have only been around 10-20 entrants this year there was probably around 30, Highlights were lewis from aberdeen doing smooth 540's and whip airs and a high 360 wall ride, Chaz's 720, Kristen Kyle blasting everything super smooth, Danny Walker's hip flip and killing himself trying crazy off axis flips over the spine, and 720's over the spine, Ryan J's frontflips, everything Si gibb done, and Mick's flipwhips, downside three whips over the spine and hip, Huge whip over the hip in hall 2, and a clean double whip over the box (he'd never tried it before). There was so much more that happened though but I can remember things that happed yesterday so I done ok.

and news from danny english winter suck so much im just glad i have a good indoor park to get me through, cant wait to get the new set up everything looks so good.


Also danny is now being hooked up by duffs so that's great he was riding in some white disco shoes when i last saw him

Elect collector stem, sort of...

Wow, the first 2008 delivery is full of surprise. In spite of controlling stuff in Taiwan, some mistakes are still on. Elect stems arrived with 6061-T6 logo printed on while the are made of 7075-T6 alloy of course. Those of you who will buy them will have a kind of collector stem. Sorry for that.

Allons bon, la première livraison 2008 nous réserve plein de surprise. Malgré un control à Taiwan, des erreurs se sont glissées dans les cartons. Les potences Elect portent un logo 6061-T6 alors qu'elles sont taillées dans le l'aluminium 7075-T6. Ceux d'entre vous qui en achèteront possèderont une sorte de potence collector. Désolé pour cela.

another serious injury for clement

i've heard rumours that clement granier crashed real bad this weekend during a dirt contest, and he now has 15 stitches at the wrong place... ouccccccchhh! but he is ok and he will soon be back on his bike.. never forget to put bar ends on your bike!!!

j'ai entendu des rumeurs comme quoi clement Granier se serait blessé ce weekend pendant un contest de dirt, et il aurait actuellement 15 points de suture au mauvais endroit... mais il va bien et sera rapidement de retour sur son vélo. n'oubliez jamais de mettre des embouts de guidon sur votre vélo!!!

Ben Gea came to town today with some of his friends (John Garcia, Chocotom, pampa and ramusqué!). We just gave him a custom brakeless Light My Fire with the help of alternatif shop. Check the bike check blog for some photos. This brakeless Light My Fire is the only one right now but all of our frames will be soon available without brake mounts. look for some web videos featuring ben, his friends and the other french superstar riders next week!

Ben Gea était en ville aujourd'hui avec John Garcia, pampa et les toulousains chocotom et ramusqué! On vient juste de donné quelques pièces a ben, avec l'aide d'alternatif shopdont un cadre Light My fire custom sans tasseaux de freins. allez sur le bikecheck blog pour les photos. Ce cadre est unique pour l'instant mais tous nos cadres seront bientôt disponibles sans tasseaux de freins. laboratory tests

I worked for the last 6 months on a laboratory to find a way to improve some areas of the frames. i did plenty of tests and simulations to find the best way to make the best frames possible. My study is now finished and we learned some importants things about gussets, tubing welding.. i will not post the conclusions of the study but we wanted to show you that we are doing our best to make the best frames possible.
